One question a day,
meet yourself a year later
QuestionDiary is a journal that asks one question every morning and takes only a few lines to answer. A year later, on the same date, the answer you wrote arrives for today's you.
How you use it
366 questions are tied to calendar dates, so the same question returns on the same day every year. A few lines is enough.
One question a day
A question arrives every morning. If it does not fit, write your own or pick one from the Plaza.
A year later, it comes back
When the date comes around, last year's answer appears on today's screen. After a few years, you see every year's answer together.
Journal
Look back by calendar or timeline, search, and track your streak and how much of the year you have filled.
Plaza
A place where people post questions they want to ask each other. Bring any into your own diary. No names, no profiles.
Only on your device
Answers stay on your iPhone by default. Backup is opt-in, and a 10-character code moves it to a new device. Face ID lock.
Reminders
Once a day at the time you choose. Already answered? That day stays quiet.
Screens

Ads, but no tracking
The app never asks for tracking permission. Your diary is never used for analytics, and server backup only runs when you turn it on yourself.
The app is free, so a banner ad is shown at the bottom of the screen. Ads never see your diary.
